Nationwide coverage
Domestic EPCs are available across England and Wales, and commercial assessments at Level 3 and Level 4 are arranged nationally. Turnaround depends on assessor availability in your postcode rather than on distance, so it is worth asking for a date when you request the quote.
What an EPC covers
An EPC records the energy performance of a building on a scale from A to G, together with a recommendation report setting out the improvements that would raise the rating. It is valid for ten years and is lodged on the national register.
